Software architecture · Systems design · Engineering

We design the systems your business runs on.

TRxCARE is a senior-led software consultancy. We architect platforms that scale, build them with engineers who think like owners, and leave you with systems your team can actually understand.

/ 01 — Services

Engineering from the blueprint to production.

Eight practices, one standard: every line of code traces back to an architectural decision someone can explain.

/ 02 — The difference

Not outsourcing. Outthinking.

Most vendors sell hours. We sell judgment, then back it with engineers who execute. Here's what that looks like in practice.

/ 03 — Approach

Four phases. No surprises.

A delivery model refined for systems that can't afford to fail, with a concrete artifact at the end of every phase.

Phase 01

Discover

1–2 weeks

Stakeholder interviews, codebase and infrastructure audit, domain mapping and constraint discovery.

You getCurrent-state assessment & risk map
Phase 02

Architect

2–4 weeks

Target-state design, trade-off analysis, proofs of concept on the riskiest assumptions, cost modelling.

You getBlueprint, ADRs & phased roadmap
Phase 03

Build

Iterative

Senior pods ship in two-week increments with CI/CD, automated tests and observability from the first sprint.

You getWorking software, every two weeks
Phase 04

Evolve

Ongoing

SLO-driven operations, performance tuning, and structured handover to your in-house team when you're ready.

You getRunbooks, training & a team that owns it
/ 04 — Engagements

Work with us your way.

From a focused architecture sprint to a full team that builds, runs and transfers. Every model starts with the same senior bar.

Most popular start

Architecture Sprint

A fixed-scope deep dive into your system. We leave you with a target architecture, decision records and a costed roadmap, whether or not we build it.

Fixed scope2–6 weeks
Outcome-based

Product Build

We design and ship a product or platform end-to-end against agreed milestones, with acceptance criteria tied to business outcomes.

Milestones3–12 months
Embedded

Dedicated Pod

A cross-functional, senior-led pod that joins your rituals and tooling. Scale up or down month to month as your roadmap shifts.

Monthly3–12 engineers
Long-term

Build–Operate–Transfer

We assemble the team, build the platform and run it, then transfer people, process and code into your organisation.

/ 05 — Where we fit

Problems we're built for.

If one of these sounds familiar, we should talk.

Scale

"Our platform buckles every time we grow."

The patternA monolith or tangled services hitting database, latency and deployment limits.
Our moveMap domains, isolate hot paths, introduce events and caching, and migrate incrementally without a freeze.
Legacy

"Nobody wants to touch the core system."

The patternBusiness-critical code with no tests, no docs and a shrinking pool of people who understand it.
Our moveCharacterisation tests, strangler-fig extraction, and zero-downtime data migration, one capability at a time.
Velocity

"We have engineers, but we're not shipping."

The patternSlow pipelines, unclear ownership, environment drift and too many meetings about deploys.
Our moveA paved-road internal platform, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and clear service ownership.
/ 06 — Stack

Fluent in the tools. Loyal to none.

We recommend technology on fit, cost and your team's ability to run it, not on what we happen to like.

/ 07 — FAQ

Questions, answered.

How is TRxCARE different from an outsourcing company?

Outsourcing firms supply capacity. We supply architecture, judgment and accountability, then the engineering capacity to deliver it. Every team is led by a principal architect, and every engagement starts with understanding your system before writing code.

Can you work alongside our existing engineering team?

Yes, and we prefer it. Our pods join your standups, your Slack and your repositories. The goal is to make your team stronger, not dependent on us.

Who owns the code and IP?

You do, completely and from the first commit. Work happens in your repositories and your cloud accounts, under your licences.

What if we only need an architecture review?

That's exactly what the Architecture Sprint is for. You get a blueprint, decision records and a costed roadmap that you can execute with us, with another partner, or in-house.

How quickly can a team start?

An architecture sprint can usually begin within two weeks of a first call. Dedicated pods are typically assembled within two to four weeks, depending on size and skill mix.
